Founded in 1980 by President Larry O'Toole, and incorporated in 1985, Gentle Giant Moving and Storage Company, Inc. has become the premier residential and commercial mover on the East Coast. Gentle Giant has been headquartered in Somerville for over 15 years.
The company now has regional offices in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Virginia, offering local, interstate, and international moves. Gentle Giant completed over 12,000 moves in 2005 and serves the storage needs of nearly 10,000 customers.
